Purchase Program Fleet Purchase - If you put together an order for 4 boats (you and three friends), shipped to the same address at the same time, we will take 10% right off the top (does not apply to rebate or discounted items). This is NOT a one-time offer. Any time your group orders 4 or more boats at one time that order qualifies for this Fleet discount. You'll save on shipping too! How it works Fleet Purchase - One order Our recommended Fleet purchase arrangement is for one person to make one purchase order and then distribute the boats to the individual owners when they arrive. We will accept this order by phone and confirm with a Fleet Purchase invoice via email. Fleet Purchase - Individual order Under this program, we add a 3% service fee for the additional administration required. That effectively cuts the discount to 7% instead of 10%. Following is how to manage the individual order plan.
Tips and Tricks If you send us 7 names, we will wait for those 7 orders to come in. So you need to push your buyers to get their orders in promptly. (Order Deadline) If you have a buyer that cannot order on line (no computer), then collect his information, credit card, etc. and make the order for him. Phone in orders are inefficient and not part of this offering. As each buyer orders, they will see the full retail price appearing on their order form and charged to their credit card. As soon as the Fleet order is assembled and ready to ship, the Fleet discount and the group shipping discount will be credited back to each buyers credit card. This should all take place within 2-3 days after the order deadline. Use the multi-boat discount as a "stick" to knock those fence sitters off. "Order now, or miss the discount!". You don't need to mention that you can put together a multi-boat order at any time to get the discount. Most will jump now, and not wait to collect others later. Fleet Purchase Coordinator Checklist Email Steve@SailRC.com with the following information: Buyers Names Fleet Purchase Name Ship to Address Avoid List Order Deadline Contact each buyer and give them the following instructions: Purchase your boat and accessories on line at http://SailRC.com. In the on-line order process you will find a "comment box". In that box place the Fleet Purchase name which is "Fleet Purchase ____________________" For the "ship to" address place this common address, ___________________. Make your order no later than _______________ or you will not be included in the order. Our multi-boat order discount and shipping discount will be credited back to each buyers card as soon as the order is assembled and ready to ship.
